Red Stars, the new compilation from THISBE Recordings, is a six-track journey through different shades of the night — and the day. Six atmospheres, six moments, six trajectories orbiting the same distant point: a stratospheric sonic experience designed to take the listener somewhere far beyond Mother Earth.

Time, like space, is relative — as a famous physicist once put it. And somewhere in the vastness of the universe, when clouds of gas collapse under their own gravity, stars are born. They begin as clouds, evolve into proto-stars and eventually ignite.

Red Stars is that moment of ignition.

For its third VA, THISBE Recordings brings together a constellation of singular artists whose sounds occupy different corners of the electronic music universe. Agathe Mougin, Acid Washed & Pyrame, Tom Mils, Rambal Cochet, John A. Marr & Bonipso and Semodi all board the same spaceship, their trajectories converging somewhere between a black hole and a distant, undiscovered galaxy.

Techno collides with trance. Psychedelic waves bend the space-time continuum. Acid pulses cut through cosmic dust. Melodies drift through the void. Six tracks, each with its own atmosphere, yet all pulled into the same gravitational field.

The result is Red Stars — a new constellation for the THISBE Recordings´ universe.
